Exhibition news

I am very happy to announce that I have a solo exhibition at Artereal gallery in Sydney, December 6 –  28.  Still coming up with a title for this exhibition so more to follow. I have been represented by Artereal gallery since 2010 and they are a wonderfully supportive and passionate team. I am so thrilled to be having my 4th solo exhibition there!

Artereal, like others, now divide their large gallery into 3 exhibition spaces so that they can accommodate 3 artists- ie 3 solo exhibitions on one night. This means there is a larger audience for all the work and an especially lively atmosphere on opening night. More to follow on this two. Am excited to discover who the other 2 artists will be.

Opening night for the exhibitions is 6-8pm Wednesday 6 December 2016.

Other news is that my large work on paper, Hare-brain, is a finalist in the Redland Art Prize. This is a bi-annual contemporary painting exhibition held at the Redland Art Gallery in south-east Queensland, alongside Moreton Bay. ( I won the Moreton Bay Art Prize in 2011). I am fortunate to have been a finalist in the previous 3 Redland art award exhibitions and am now in it again! I am really happy with this particular work and if it is not the prize winner ( always a long shot!)- Then this work will likely feature in my solo exhibition at Artereal.

Ok back to the studio for me.
